As a cadet you will learn all aspects of Construction. From Contracts Administration, Estimating, Design and of course, gain valuable on-site exposure. You will be mentored by the senior members of the team as you develop your career in construction.
Typical tasks include supporting the Construction Managers in:
- Liaising with all trades and suppliers
- Liaising with Client/Project Superintendent
- Attending meetings with clients/project superintendent onsite
- Effective communication with other team members
- Cost management of trades through construction process
- General administrative duties
- Document control
- Processing and review of invoices/progress claims
Essential skills and characteristics:
- Reliable, honest and hardworking
- Great communication skills
- Effective time management and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team and autonomously
Required qualifications:
- Second to final year student or recently graduated in a Construction Management degree
- Relevant practical experience beneficial but not required, some form of work history will be highly regarded
- Drivers licence & own reliable car
