About the Role

Our QLD business is currently in an exciting period of growth and has multiple Estimator opportunities available across Queensland.

As our Ipswich Estimator, you will assess property damage and prepare accurate scopes of works, estimates and reports to support insurance repair claims. Working closely with insurers, customers and internal teams, you will ensure assessments meet regulatory and insurer requirements while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, accuracy and quality throughout the claims process. This is a technical role suited to someone with strong construction knowledge, attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate outcomes within required timeframes.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct property damage assessments and prepare detailed scopes of work and causation reports.
- Coordinate make-safe works and engage specialist trades for complex assessments.
- Ensure all estimates comply with building codes, legislation and HSEQ requirements.
- Manage communication with customers, insurers and stakeholders throughout the assessment process.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation across internal systems and insurer platforms.
- Deliver estimates within agreed timeframes while ensuring cost accuracy and minimal variations.

About You

- Trade certificate or tertiary qualification in construction, Builders License, White Card and current driver’s licence
- Previous experience in a building estimating, insurance assessments or construction-related roles
- Solid knowledge of construction methods, materials and relevant building codes
- Demonstrated experience preparing scopes of work and damage causation reports
- Strong attention to detail with excellent written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems and work in a fast-paced environment
