Role Description The Construction Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Brisbane Area. This position oversees day-to-day site operations, including coordinating trades, managing schedules, and ensuring construction activities meet design specifications and quality standards. The supervisor conducts regular site inspections, monitors safety practices, and enforces compliance with building codes and company policies.

Responsibilities include communicating with managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve issues, track progress, and keep projects on time and within budget.



The role also involves maintaining accurate site documentation, reporting on milestones, and supporting a positive, safe working environment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills and experience in Site Supervision on residential construction projects.
- Candidates should possess explicit and effective Communication skills for coordinating with teams, subcontractors, and clients.
- Candidates should possess skills in Inspection and Construction Safety to maintain quality standards and safe work practices.
- Relevant qualifications such as a Certificate in Building and Construction, or equivalent experience in residential construction.
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, construction methods, and project scheduling tools.
- Proven ability to read and interpret plans and specifications, and to manage multiple tasks on busy sites.
- Current driver’s license; construction white card or equivalent safety certification is highly beneficial.
- Good computer skills and able to use live scheduling and management software.
