St Joseph’s Nudgee College is seeking a skilled and engaging Construction Teacher to join our Skills & Training team on a fixed term basis.
This fixed term contract for Term 4 2026 commences on Tuesday, 6 October and runs through to Wednesday, 2 December, with the teaching load primarily focused on Year 10 Construction.
The Role
As a member of our Skills & Training team, you will:
- Teach Construction, primarily to Year 10 students
- Deliver engaging, practical and hands-on learning experiences
- Support students to develop practical skills, confidence and knowledge
- Create a secure, inclusive and positive workshop environment
- Contribute to curriculum planning and faculty collaboration
- Support students both academically and pastorally
- Participate actively in the co-curricular and faith life of the College
About You
You are an educator who enjoys bringing learning to life through practical experiences and building students’ confidence in the workshop. You bring:
- Registration with the Queensland College of Teachers
- Demonstrated capability and experience teaching Construction or a related Technologies discipline
- A practical and engaging approach to teaching and learning
- A willingness to contribute to the wider life and mission of the College
