Due to ongoing business growth and increasing project demand, they are now seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join their team and play a key role in supporting future projects.
Your new role
This newly created position offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of residential, commercial and infrastructure developments throughout Tasmania.
You will be responsible for conducting geotechnical investigations, undertaking site inspections and analysing field and laboratory data to provide practical engineering recommendations. The role will see you working closely with clients, contractors and project stakeholders while preparing detailed technical reports to support project design and development outcomes. This position offers an excellent balance of site-based work and office-based technical analysis, ensuring variety and exposure to diverse projects across the state.
What you'll need to succeed To be successful,
you'll have demonstrated experience working within a consulting geotechnical engineering environment and possess strong technical capabilities in site investigations, geotechnical assessments and report preparation.
You'll be comfortable undertaking field investigations, analysing soil and rock profiles, interpreting geotechnical data and producing clear, practical engineering recommendations. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects while working collaboratively within a professional consulting team will also be essential.
