About The Opportunity An established and expanding organisation operating across engineering, energy and infrastructure project environments is seeking a Contract Manager - Commercial & Projects to join their team.

This is a commercially focused role where you will take ownership of contract administration, project commercial performance and risk management across a portfolio of high-value projects. Working alongside senior stakeholders, project teams and external partners, you will help drive successful project outcomes while strengthening the organisation's commercial governance and contract management capability.

About The Role

Reporting into senior leadership, your responsibilities will include:

- Reviewing, negotiating and administering customer, supplier and subcontractor agreements
- Providing commercial guidance throughout tender, mobilisation and delivery phases
- Managing contractual obligations and ensuring compliance across projects
- Identifying and mitigating commercial, contractual and operational risks
- Supporting project teams with variations, claims, extensions of time and contract administration matters
- Monitoring project performance and protecting commercial entitlements
- Coordinating subcontractor engagement and commercial management activities
- Developing and improving contract management frameworks, policies and reporting processes
- Supporting dispute avoidance and resolution initiatives
- Partnering with project and operational leaders to achieve successful commercial outcomes





About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Demonstrated experience in contract management, commercial management or project management positions
- Strong understanding of contract administration principles and commercial risk management
- Experience within construction, infrastructure, engineering, energy, resources or industrial environments
- Proven capability managing project delays, variations, claims and contractual correspondence
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
- Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving capability
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively across multiple business functions
- A practical, solutions-focused approach to managing commercial outcomes

Highly Desirable

- Legal qualifications or previous legal practice experience
- Experience reviewing and negotiating complex commercial contracts
- Exposure to large-scale infrastructure, industrial or energy projects
- Understanding of project delivery frameworks and contract governance processes
