Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse or Nurse with Urgent Care experience to join the Craigieburn Community Hospital Urgent Care Centre.
Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north.
Services are provided through our five main campuses:
Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg, Kilmore District Hospital.
About the Role
This role requires a highly motivated Registered Nurse, interested and experienced in the Urgent Care setting or with Critical Care qualification.
This role is responsible for the Assessment, management and treatment of patients presenting to the Urgent Care Centre.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience and good working knowledge of Urgent Care or Emergency Nursing.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to provide patient centred care.
- Well-developed clinical skills
