About the Role
As our Customer Service Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of our day-to-day operations, helping turn customer requirements into seamless outcomes for growers and agribusinesses who rely on Polytex to protect their produce.
This is a wide-ranging, fast paced and highly cooperative role where no two days are exactly the same. Working closely with our Sales, Production and Logistics teams, you'll help keep everything moving smoothly — from the initial quotation right through to manufacturing and dispatch of our produce protection products.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing customer quotations —you'll help put together accurate, professional quotes that give out customer confidence from the very first interaction.
- Managing client data with care —gathering and maintaining accurate customer information so every document and record reflects the professionalism Polytex is known for.
- Being a trusted local contact — acting as a secondary point of contact for customer inquiries, helping resolve issues quickly and keeping customers feeling supported.
- Championing data quality — playing a key role in keeping our CRM and order processing platforms clean, consistent and reliable, so the whole team can work with confidence.
- Connecting the dots across teams — liaising with Sales, sending dispatch notifications once Logistics confirms pickup, and recording proof of delivery (PODs), so customers are always kept in the loop.
- Delivering insights through reporting — preparing regular sales reports that help the business understand performance and plan ahead.
- Jumping in where needed — supporting the Sales team with ad-hoc tasks, because you're the kind of person who's happy to help wherever it's needed.
- Keeping our tools sharp — maintaining pricing and support tools so accurate information is always at the Sales team's fingertips when they need it most.
What We're Looking For
- Customer service experience, with a knack for juggling priorities without dropping the ball on quality.
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal, with an eye for accurate documentation.
- A natural relationship-builder, equally comfortable with customers and colleagues.
- Cool under pressure, with solid time management to match our fast pace.
- Sharp attention to detail — little things don't slip past you.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with NetSuite and HubSpot CRM is a bonus, not a must.
What's In It for You?
- A supportive, down-to-earth culture built on teamwork, excellence and continuous improvement — where your contribution genuinely matters.
- Real career development, with ongoing training and on-the-job learning to help you grow your skills over time.
- A varied, engaging role alongside a passionate Sales team that's driving Polytex forward to its next chapter.
- The chance to be part of a purpose-driven, family-owned business, in a role where your work has real, visible impact.
- Access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), because we care about your wellbeing as much as your work.
- The opportunity to make a genuine contribution to business growth and innovation — and be recognised for it.
