Chemist Warehouse Optometry is looking for an experienced Customer Service Officer to provide cover during a team member’s annual leave.
About the Role
This is a temporary 5-week contract, approximately 4 hours per day (Monday-Friday), with daily working hours. The role can be performed remotely following training.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer enquiries via email and website.
- Assist customers with orders, deliveries and general enquiries.
- Liaise with internal team members where required.
- Provide prompt, friendly and qualified customer service.
- Escalate clinical enquiries appropriately.
Qualifications
- Previous online customer service experience.
Required Skills
- Must have excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong written communication,
with a high standard of grammar and spelling.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy in all work.
- Comfortable learning new systems and processes quickly.
- Able to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
- Although not required, previous experience with e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify, is advantageous.
Pay range and compensation package 5-week temporary assignment. Approximately 20 hours per week.
Start date: Immediately
Competitive hourly rate based on experience. $35-$45/hour.
Potential for longer-term role based on performance over the 5-week contract.
