Jumbo is a growing company handling waste management, resource recovery and recycling across South East Queensland. Skip bin hire, resource recovery and recycling, basically turning what others throw out into high-quality recycled material. Real trucks, real sites, real deadlines.

We’re based in Narangba. The team is small, hands-on and close-knit. We care about safety, doing the job properly, and getting a bit better every week.

We’re hiring a Customer Service Rep.

What the job actually looks like

You’re the first voice our customers hear. A builder needs a bin on site by 7am. A homeowner has no idea what size they need. Someone’s bin is full and the job’s running behind. You sort it out. Day to day, you’ll:

- Answer the phones and the inbox, and be the front door of the business
- Know our products well enough to give a straight answer, fast
- Work closely with the ops team to get bins where they need to be
- Handle complaints properly - find the fix, not the excuse
- Pitch in on admin and other jobs around the business when things get busy

It’s not a script-reading role.



You’ll make real calls and we’ll back you.

You’ll be positive at this if:

- You’ve done customer service before - at least a year, ideally in a similar industry
- You stay calm when three things go wrong at once
- You’re a genuine people person. Our customers are tradies, builders and locals, and they can tell when someone’s faking it
- You write and speak clearly
- You’d rather fix a broken process than complain about it
- You’re honest, reliable, and happy to help wherever you’re needed

The practical bits:

- Full-time, 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday
- Start times move - sometimes 6am, sometimes 8:30am. Our customers start early, so sometimes we do too
- You’ll be part of a Saturday shift rotation, roughly once a month
