Gouge Linen & Garment Services is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Specialist to join our Customer Care Hub at our Mooroopna facility.

As one of the first points of contact for our customers, you'll play a critical role in delivering outstanding service and helping maintain the strong relationships that have made Gouge a trusted name across Victoria and Southern New South Wales.

About the Role

Our Customer Care Hub is often described as the heart of our business. The team is responsible for supporting customers, resolving enquiries, coordinating solutions and ensuring every interaction reflects the high service standards Gouge is known for.

This is a fast-paced and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You'll work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure enquiries are handled efficiently and professionally while contributing to a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Managing inbound customer calls and enquiries
- Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Responding to customer requests via phone and email
- Resolving customer issues and service enquiries professionally
- Building positive and lasting customer relationships
- Raising and tracking service requests through internal systems
- Liaising with production, logistics and other internal departments
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation




- Contributing to a collaborative and customer-focused team culture

About You

We're looking for someone who is positive, organised and genuinely enjoys helping people.

To be successful, you'll have:

- Previous experience in a customer service or customer support role
- A friendly, professional and confident telephone manner
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Sound Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- The ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
- A current Driver's Licence

Highly Regarded

- Experience working with ERP, CRM or customer management systems
- Exposure to Microsoft technologies and AI tools
- Experience in administration, logistics or service-based industries
