Morgan's IGA is a proud family-owned supermarket group operating across four stores in Victoria. We're looking for an energetic and hands-on Deli Manager to lead our deli team and deliver an outstanding fresh food experience for our customers. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated retail leader who enjoys working with people, maintaining high standards, and driving results in a fast-paced fresh food environment.

About the Role

As Deli Manager, you'll take ownership of the department and be responsible for:

- Leading, coaching and developing a team of deli assistants
- Delivering excellent customer service and product knowledge
- Managing stock ordering, rotation and inventory control
- Reducing shrink through effective stock management and food safety practices
- Creating attractive displays and maintaining merchandising standards
- Managing department rosters and labour budgets
- Monitoring sales, margins and department profitability
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, health and safety requirements
- Maintaining a clean,



organised and ready-for-business department at all times

What We're Looking For

- Previous experience in a supermarket, deli, fresh food or hospitality management role
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to manage stock, ordering and department performance
- Knowledge of food safety and handling practices
- A hands-on approach with the ability to work in a fast-paced setting
- Reliable, organised and results-focused
