Duraplas Industries is a leading manufacturer of rotationally moulded water tanks for domestic, commercial and rural properties, who have been manufacturing under the same family ownership for over 35 years.
THE ROLE
Duraplas Coffs Harbour is seeking a casual delivery driver, to load and unload poly water tanks and associated items, in the areas between Yamba & Port Macquarie, as well as inland areas near Grafton, Bellingen and Kempsey.
The position involves manual handling of the product onsite at customer premises and requires a hands-on approach with the ability to drive oversized loads in a safe manner. Early morning starts are common for the position.
The job would suit a candidate who is retired or semi-retired, looking for 2-4 days per week. This is NOT a full-time position.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS The applicant should possess the following:
- A good driving record
- Medium Rigid license - MUST HAVE
- Be physically fit and able to move heavy items
- Trailer experience preferred
- Forklift license preferred
- Be a self-starter, who is reliable and honest
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Valuable communication skills
- Willingness to learn
- Be well presented with a focus on customer service
