Align delivery workforce capacity and capability to demand Workforce capacity is what keeps delivery moving. This role plans and balances icare's delivery workforce so capability and capacity meet demand across the Technology function - and delivery stays on track.
About the role
Reporting to the Head of Technology Workforce Operations, you'll run the day-to-day of icare's delivery workforce across delivery, change and technical BA teams.
You'll read demand before it lands, build the resourcing models that keep the workforce flexible and cost-smart - contingent, managed services, partners - and own the governance and data that make every resourcing call defensible.
It's a role for someone who thinks in models and metrics but never loses sight of the delivery they're there to serve.
What you'll do
- Match workforce supply to demand so priorities, delivery needs and capacity stay aligned
- Own forecasting, allocation and capacity planning across the portfolio - optimising utilisation and enabling smart redeployment
- Build and improve scalable resourcing models across contingent labour, managed services and partners
- Spot workforce risks, constraints and capability gaps early, and act before they hit delivery
- Set the frameworks, metrics and governance that make workforce decisions transparent and data-driven
- Partner across Technology and business as the trusted advisor on resourcing and delivery capability
What you'll bring
- 7+ years in workforce planning, resource management, delivery operations or technology delivery environments
- Demonstrated experience managing large, blended workforces across permanent, contingent, vendor and partner resources
- A proven track record in capacity planning,
workforce forecasting and utilisation management at scale
- Experience within technology delivery environments (Agile, product-based or project-based models)
- A background in vendor and partner management, including managed services and staff augmentation
- Advanced proficiency in workforce planning tools, resource management platforms and data analytics tools (Excel, Power BI or equivalent)
Nice to have: experience supporting portfolio or program delivery functions, and exposure to the financial side of workforce management (budgeting, cost optimisation, rate management). What's in it for you
- A corporate wellbeing program with subsidised gym membership, free flu vaccinations and health checks
- An extra day's leave through icare day
- Learning and development aligned to icare's Core Capabilities
- Recognition through Our People Awards - on-the-spot, quarterly and annual
- Access to our Employee Assistance Program
