Experienced Dental Assistant Required for our expanding practice.

This role will commence as a casual position, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent part time or full time role as the practice continues to grow. With a new dentist joining our team, we expect patient demand to increase, creating excellent opportunities for the right person to grow with the practice over time.

Dr Tom Giblin and Associates is a brand new purpose-built dental facility in Frenchs Forest, bringing together specialist dental practice, general dentistry, advanced dental education, and an onsite dental laboratory under one roof.

We are looking for an experienced Dental Assistant who wants more than a standard role. We want someone who is positive, organised, motivated, and excited to be part of a modern practice with a strong future vision.

This is an opportunity to work closely with specialists, general dentists, educators, and technicians in a premium recent facility with outstanding systems, technology, and support.

About the Role

You will help create a professional, calm, and welcoming experience for patients while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

The role includes

- Greeting and supporting patients throughout their journey

- Assisting with treatment planning and patient communication

- Dictating patient notes and correspondence

- Chairside assisting across general and specialist procedures

- Supporting implants, oral surgery, prosthodontics and complex restorative cases

- Maintaining infection control standards

- Supporting the wider clinical and administrative team

About You

We are looking for someone who:

- Has previous dental assisting experience

- Is confident with computers and practice management software

- Has excellent communication and organisational skills





- Has exceptional phone manner and customer service skills

- Brings positive energy to the team

- Is caring, professional, and reliable

- Enjoys working in a premium and fast moving environment

- Wants to continue learning and developing professionally

- Experience in implants, oral surgery, prosthodontics or specialist dentistry is highly regarded.

- Certificate III in Dental Assisting preferred.

This role will commence as a casual position, working Mondays and Tuesdays each week. Job Types: Casual

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
