Envirobank is looking for a reliable, hardworking Depot Hand to join our Alice Springs team based in Connellan. This is a hands-on role where you'll be working with recyclable containers, warehouse equipment, customers, and a supportive team that takes pride in making a positive environmental impact.

About the Role
As a Depot Hand, you'll play an important part in the day-to-day operation of our recycling depot, ensuring containers are processed safely, efficiently and accurately.
Your duties will include:
- Processing eligible drink containers using high-speed counting equipment.
- Meeting daily productivity and operational targets.
- Loading, unloading and moving stock throughout the depot.
- Forklift operation.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment.
- Assisting customers and providing friendly customer service when required.
- Completing general warehouse and operational duties.
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Reporting hazards, incidents and equipment issues.
- Supporting the promotion of Envirobank's Crunch recycling platform.
About You We're looking for someone who:
- Enjoys hands-on, physical work.
- Works well both independently and as part of a team.
- Has a positive attitude and robust work ethic.
- Communicates well with customers and colleagues.
- Takes pride in working safely and following procedures.
- Is reliable, punctual and willing to learn.
Requirements
- Current Forklift Licence.
- Current Driver Licence.
- Police Check- or willingness to obtain one.
Physical Requirements
This role involves
- Regular lifting, pushing and pulling.
- Standing and moving for extended periods.
- Working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Availability to work depot operating hours between 8:00am and 4:00pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays.
