ConsultANZ is seeking an experienced Design & Estimating Engineer to join a leading geotechnical and foundation engineering contractor based in Sydney, NSW . This is a great opportunity to work on major piling and ground engineering projects across Australia, supporting design, estimating, and project delivery from tender through to construction.

- Based in Sydney, NSW
- Permanent full-time role
- $130k-$160k + super (negotiable depending on experience)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Prepare concept and detailed designs for piling, foundation, and ground engineering projects.
- Develop cost estimates, tender submissions, and technical proposals.
- Review tender documents, project specifications, and engineering requirements.
- Produce engineering calculations and coordinate CAD drawings.
- Provide technical support during tendering, design, and construction phases.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal project teams.
- Conduct site inspections and assist with pile testing as required.
- Support reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Degree qualified in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.




- 5–10 years' experience in design and estimating within piling, geotechnical, or foundation engineering.
- Solid knowledge of piling, foundation, and ground improvement systems.
- Experience preparing engineering designs, estimates, and tender submissions.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and commercial awareness.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
