Data#3 is currently seeking an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to join a corporate IT environment, providing hands-on and remote support across desktop devices, hardware, software and connectivity.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage desktop hardware and software incidents through to resolution
- Provide desk-side, remote and VIP support
- Perform IMAC and break/fix services for laptops and desktops
- Install, configure, patch and maintain desktop devices
- Provide support across Windows, MS Office, Outlook, VPN and mobile devices
- Monitor endpoint security profiles and anti-virus compliance
- Use ServiceNow or similar IT service management tools
- Support desktop imaging, hardware replacements and spare parts management
- Analyse service desk incidents and identify opportunities for user training and automation
- Follow ITIL processes across Incident, Change, Problem and Service Requests
About you:
- 2–4 years' experience in a corporate Desktop Support setting
- Strong Windows desktop support experience
- Experience with ServiceNow or a similar ITSM platform
- Strong knowledge of EUC and remote support tools
- Experience supporting MS Office, Outlook, VPN and mobile devices
- Understanding of ITIL processes
Nice to have:
- Active Directory experience
- Mac and tablet support
