Diesel Fitters – Engine Change-Outs | Ongoing 7/7 Roster

AAMG is currently seeking experienced Diesel Fitters to join our client's team at Sonoma Mine.

This is an excellent chance for skilled Diesel Fitters with strong Cummins engine experience looking for ongoing work, a consistent 7/7 roster and a DIDO arrangement.

About the Role As a Diesel Fitter, you will be responsible for carrying out engine change-outs and mechanical maintenance on heavy mining equipment.

Key responsibilities include

- Completing engine swap-outs and change-outs
- Removing and installing engines and associated components
- Diagnosing mechanical faults and completing repairs
- Conducting preventative and breakdown maintenance
- Working safely and efficiently in a mining environment




- Completing maintenance documentation and reporting as required

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Trade Certificate – Diesel Fitting / Heavy Vehicle / Mechanical
- Proven Cummins engine experience – essential
- Previous experience working on heavy mobile mining equipment
- Mining experience highly regarded
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work safely and independently
- Current Driver Licence
- Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical
- Ability to work a 7/7 roster
