Diesel Fitters – HME & Field Central Queensland

Ekidna Enterprises are seeking experienced HME and Field Diesel Fitters for ongoing work at QLD open-cut coal mines in the Bowen basin.

Opportunities are available on a 7/7 roster and ad-hoc shutdowns and service days, suited to fitters with strong HME and Field equipment experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Field maintenance and breakdown support

- Scheduled servicing and inspections

- Diagnostics, fault finding and component change-outs

- Working safely within mine site procedures

Equipment Experience (Required)

- Rope shovels

- Draglines

- Heavy Mobile Equipment (trucks, dozers, graders, loaders)

- Hydraulic excavators

- Light vehicles and ancillary fleet

About You

- Qualified Diesel Fitter / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

- Proven mining maintenance experience

- Comfortable working autonomously in the field

- Solid safety and compliance focus

- Current Australian work rights
