About Baazar

Baazar is a Melbourne-based ethnic e-grocery startup making authentic South Asian groceries easier to discover, order and enjoy at home.

After launching with Bangladeshi groceries and completing more than 150 early customer orders, we are preparing to introduce Indian and Pakistani product ranges. We are now looking for a creative and motivated intern to help us reach new communities and turn marketing ideas into measurable growth.

About the role

This is a hands-on internship for someone who wants real startup experience, not just observation. You will work closely with Baazar’s leadership team to create content, support product launches and help attract and retain customers.

What you will do

- Create content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn
- Film and edit Reels, product videos, customer stories and promotional content
- Help launch our Indian and Pakistani grocery ranges
- Build and manage weekly content calendars
- Research trends, competitors, creators and community opportunities
- Support Meta advertising, email campaigns and customer remarketing
- Connect with micro-influencers, student groups and community organisations
- Help promote offers, bundles and seasonal campaigns
- Track reach, engagement, website traffic, orders and campaign performance
- Test new ideas to increase first-time and repeat orders

What we are looking for
- Currently studying or recently completed a qualification in Marketing, Communications, Media, Business or a related field
- Confident using Canva, CapCut or similar content creation tools
- Strong communication,



creativity and attention to detail
- Comfortable filming content or coordinating people on camera
- Able to work independently and deliver work on time
- Interested in ecommerce, startups and growth marketing
- Based in Melbourne and available approximately three days per week
- Understanding of Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi or wider South Asian communities is highly valued
- Previous social media, video or marketing experience is helpful but not essential
