Digital Platform Officer

- Manage Council’s digital platforms to ensure they are secure, accessible, and compliant.
- Max-Term Part-Time Contract (2 days per week) opportunity until July 2028.
- Salary from $78,540.70 – $91,277.04 per annum + 12% Super (pro rata, 2 days/week).

Reporting to the Enterprise Solutions Architect 2 days per week until July 2028, you will play a key role in delivering secure, accessible and reliable digital platforms that support Council's services, staff and community.

About the Role

As the Digital Platforms Officer, you will:

- Manage and support Council's websites, intranet and SharePoint platforms.
- Maintain platform architecture, site structures, templates and navigation.
- Monitor platform performance, security and availability.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, integrations and platform dependencies.
- Support system upgrades, enhancements, testing and quality assurance.
- Ensure compliance with accessibility, cyber security and legislative requirements.
- Analyse user behaviour and apply user-centred design to improve experiences.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to deliver effective digital solutions.

What You’ll Bring:

- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Experience supporting enterprise websites, intranets and Microsoft SharePoint environments.




- Strong understanding of digital platform architecture, frameworks and design principles.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards cyber security and privacy requirements.
- Experience managing platform integrations, APIs and third-party services.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Experience applying user-centred design, governance frameworks and continuous improvement practices.
