Ambrose Treacy College (ATC) is a leading Catholic Years 4 – 12 boys school located in Indooroopilly with a cohort of 1,250 students. The Principal invites applications from experienced and visionary Information Technology leaders for the following position:
Director of Information Technology
Full-Time, Permanent
As a member of the College's senior leadership team, this pivotal role provides strategic leadership, direction, and management of the College's information technology functions.
The Director of Information Technology will develop and execute technology strategies aligned with the College Strategic Plan while ensuring technology effectively supports teaching, learning, business operations and the future digital advancement of the College.
We seek an experienced and strategic leader who:
- Has significant experience leading information technology services and governance within a complex organisational environment for five or more years.
- Demonstrated commitment supporting the Catholic faith of the College and a thorough understanding of the Edmund Rice Education ethos.
- Has proven expertise in IT strategic planning, organisation design, technology transformation and governance.
- Can develop and communicate a compelling technology vision that aligns with organisational strategy and inspires teams.
- Has demonstrated success in leading digital innovation and leveraging emerging technologies to improve organisational outcomes.
- Possesses strong knowledge of enterprise systems, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, infrastructure and business applications.
- Has experience managing technology operations, service delivery,
governance, budgets, projects and vendor relationships.
- Has a strong understanding of data management, systems integration, business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
- Demonstrates exceptional leadership capability with experience building high-performing teams and developing staff capability.
- Has excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for a broad range of stakeholders.
- Holds a degree or postgraduate qualifications in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related discipline.
