About the role
You’ll help create a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment for our residents. You’ll carry out cleaning and laundry duties, use equipment and products safely, follow hygiene and infection prevention practices, and work respectfully around residents, visitors and your team. It’s practical, hands-on work where the little things really do make a difference. We have two permanent part time opportunities available.
The Domestic
Assistant role is 70 hours per fortnight, Monday to Friday, with morning shifts from 6:30am to 2:00pm.
The Laundry
Assistant role is 49 hours per fortnight, Monday to Thursday, with morning shifts commencing between 6:30am and 8:00am, depending on the roster.
About you
If you’re someone who takes pride in a job well done, notices the little details and enjoys being part of a team, this could be the role for you. You’ll be reliable, organised and comfortable working independently while also knowing when to lend a hand. Your key experience will include:
Previous experience in cleaning, domestic services or laundry, ideally in aged care or a similar environment
Infection Prevention Control certificate
Good understanding of workplace health, safety, hygiene and infection prevention
Strong attention to detail and time management skills A respectful and caring approach when working around residents
Confidence using cleaning equipment and handling cleaning products safely
National Police Clearance obtained within the last six months
