Happy Transport Student Services is looking for reliable, caring drivers to join our team to support students travel comfortably and safely to and from school.

About the Role:

As an ASTP Driver with Happy Transport Student Services, you will make a positive difference by providing students with safe, reliable and comfortable travel to and from school, in line with NSW Department of Education ASTP requirements.

Your responsibilities will include

- Safely transporting students between their homes and school
- Supporting students throughout their journey and ensuring their safety and wellbeing
- Following the designated route and daily travel schedule
- Creating a welcoming, respectful and professional environment for every student
- Maintaining clear and appropriate communication with parents, carers, schools and Happy Transport Student Services
- Promptly reporting any incidents, concerns or changes that may affect the transport service
- Keeping your vehicle clean, safe and well-presented for student transport
- Following all relevant safety, child protection and ASTP requirements and procedures

About You We are seeking applicants who:

- Present themselves professionally and maintain a positive attitude
- Prioritise safety and consistently follow relevant policies and procedures




- Communicate clearly and respectfully with parents, carers and schools
- Understand the importance of confidentiality and maintaining appropriate professional boundaries
- Take pride in delivering a reliable, high-quality standard of care and service

Previous experience working with children, students or people with disability is desirable but not essential.

Essential Requirements

Applicants will need to meet relevant eligibility and compliance requirements, which may include:

- A current Full NSW driver licence suitable for the vehicle being used.
- Owning a safe, reliable vehicle that is no more than 14 years old and suitable for student transport services.
- Current and Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Have a satisfactory driving record
- Meet the required medical fitness standards
- Complete the required ASTP driver application and documentation
- Meet all other requirements applicable to ASTP drivers
- Successfully pass the NSW Department of Education's required probity assessment
