? About the Role

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Transmission team in Perth. This role will see you working on the design and delivery of underground transmission cable projects ranging from 33kV to 330kV, supporting major utility and renewable energy developments across Australia. Working alongside experienced engineers and technical specialists, you'll gain exposure to every stage of the project lifecycle while continuing to develop your technical and professional capabilities.

✅ Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the design and delivery of underground transmission cable projects from 33kV to 330kV.
- Prepare cable routing layouts, design drawings and technical documentation.
- Undertake cable sizing, ampacity and electrical design calculations.
- Support the development of specifications, reports and engineering deliverables.
- Coordinate with civil, structural, protection and secondary design teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Participate in design reviews and ensure compliance with relevant Australian Standards and client requirements.
- Liaise with utilities,



contractors and project stakeholders throughout project delivery.
- Assist with site inspections, commissioning support and technical investigations where required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practice.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary project environment.

? About You

You'll be an enthusiastic engineer who enjoys solving technical challenges and is looking to build a long term career in transmission engineering.

Ideally you'll have

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Design experience within a power utility, consultant, or as a project engineer is highly regarded.
- Exposure to cable systems between 33kV and 132kV would be highly regarded.
- Understanding of Australian Standards and utility design requirements.
- CAD drafting skills in MicroStation or AutoCAD, especially for route layout design drafting.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn from experienced engineers.
