Electrical Engineering Expert (AI Training) About The Role We're partnering with the world's leading AI research labs to make AI smarter — and we need real electrical engineers to do it. As an Electrical Engineering Expert, you'll stress-test advanced AI models on complex technical problems, expose gaps in their reasoning, and help build the next generation of engineering-capable AI. This is a fully remote, versatile contract role — work on your own schedule, anywhere in the world.
Organization: Alignerr
Type: Hourly Contract
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Design Challenging Problems — Create advanced electrical engineering problems spanning circuit analysis, power systems, signal processing, electromagnetics, and control systems to probe the limits of AI performance
Author Gold-Standard Solutions — Write rigorous, step-by-step technical solutions that serve as the benchmark for AI learning and evaluation
Audit AI Outputs — Review AI-generated code, circuit diagrams, and mathematical proofs for correctness, safety, and compliance with engineering standards (IEEE, NEC, etc.)
Sharpen AI Reasoning — Identify flawed logic in AI responses and provide structured, actionable feedback to improve how models think through engineering challenges
Cover Cutting-Edge Domains — Work across embedded systems, VLSI, telecommunications, power electronics, robotics, and engineering simulations Who You Are Pursuing or holding a Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field
Deep knowledge in one or more core EE domains: VLSI, control systems, signal processing, power electronics, or telecommunications
Able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and precisely in writing
Exceptionally detail-oriented — you spot errors in equations, circuit logic, and technical documentation others miss
No prior AI experience required — your engineering expertise is what matters Nice to Have Experience with data annotation, technical content creation, or evaluation systems
