Electrical Engineering Expert (AI Training) About The Role We're looking for experienced electrical engineers to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models. Your domain expertise will directly shape how AI reasons through complex engineering problems — from circuit analysis to power systems to signal processing. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. You set your schedule and work on your own terms while contributing to some of the most advanced AI research happening today.
Organization: Alignerr
Type: Hourly Contract
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Design Challenging Problems — Create advanced electrical engineering problems across domains like circuit analysis, power systems, electromagnetics, signal processing, and control systems to stress-test AI performance
Author Ground-Truth Solutions — Write rigorous, step-by-step technical solutions that serve as benchmarks for AI learning and evaluation
Audit Technical Accuracy — Evaluate AI-generated outputs including code, circuit diagrams, and mathematical proofs for correctness, safety, and adherence to engineering standards (IEEE, NEC, etc.)
Improve AI Reasoning — Identify flaws in AI logic and provide structured, actionable feedback to help models think more accurately about engineering problems
Work Asynchronously — Complete tasks independently on your own schedule with no mandatory meetings or fixed hours Who You Are Pursuing or holding a Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field
Solid foundational knowledge in one or more core areas: VLSI, control systems, telecommunications, power electronics, or embedded systems
Able to communicate highly technical concepts clearly and concisely in written English
