Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in O’Connor, WA. The Electrician will carry out electrical installation, maintenance and repairs across commercial, industrial and specialist projects, ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with Australian standards and regulations.
Day-to-day tasks include fault-finding and troubleshooting, wiring and cabling, testing and commissioning systems, and supporting PV solar, battery, EV charging, CCTV and security installations.
The role involves reading and interpreting plans and schematics, preparing accurate documentation, and communicating clearly with supervisors, clients and other trades. The Electrician will contribute to a positive safety culture, follow company procedures, and help deliver projects on time and to specification.
Qualifications
- Solid practical skills in electricity and electrical work, including safe handling of electrical systems and components.
- Experience with maintenance & repair and troubleshooting of commercial and industrial electrical installations.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering principles relevant to wiring, load calculations, and system performance.
- Current WA electrical licence and White Card (Construction Induction), with up-to-date understanding of AS/NZS standards and local regulations.
- Proven ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation.
- Commitment to safe work practices, risk assessment and use of appropriate PPE and tools.
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to sites across Perth and regional WA as required.
- Good communication skills, reliable work ethic, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in commercial, industrial or solar/EV charging installations is highly regarded.
