You’ll be helping Red Cross to support vulnerable people across Australia The program Red Cross Employment Program provides several different activities to support those on temporary and/or permanent VISAs to find employment. It consists of Case Support and Business Engagement. The case support involves individualised, targeted support for participants to become job ready with programs offered including English for Work, Employment Hubs, Mentoring and Information Sessions.
This program aims to improve the wellbeing of asylum seekers, refugees, and new arrived migrants. Having good social connections is essential for all aspects of health, especially as we age.

Aged & Community Care programs support older and vulnerable Australians by improving their social connection and wellbeing through a variety of different services. The opportunity
This volunteer role will support clients from a culturally and linguistically diverse background who are facing barriers towards employment due to low levels of English.
This role will require working as part of a team, as well as one on one with clients who have been made vulnerable as a result of migration. The aim of the role to help clients learn English skills in order to gain employment.
Red Cross will ensure you have training,
ongoing support and access to other opportunities within the world’s largest humanitarian network. The impact As a volunteer, you will help vulnerable people from culturally and linguistically diverse background to learn English skills in order to gain employment. You will have the opportunity to work with diverse people and help them to improve their wellbeing as well as feeling the satisfaction of giving back to others.
You will also have an opportunity to enhance your skills & knowledge & gain new experiences. Application requirements For this role you will be required to undertake a National Police Check, which will be organised through Red Cross. To submit this an application you will be need to upload a recent copy of your CV and/or provide details for two professional references.
