We're looking for a driven and ambitious Energy Broker Executive to join our growing sales team and help expand our broker and channel partner network.
The Opportunity
This role is focused on generating new business revenue through proactive prospecting, broker relationship development and channel partnerships. You'll manage the full sales lifecycle from identifying opportunities through to signed client agreements while building a strong pipeline of broker-sourced opportunities.
This is an ideal role for an experienced B2B sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced setting and enjoys hunting for new business.
What You'll Be Doing
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound calling, email campaigns, networking and referrals
- Build and maintain relationships with brokers, channel partners and key stakeholders
- Manage opportunities through the full sales process from lead generation to close
- Present Energy Action's energy procurement, renewable energy and emissions reporting solutions
- Secure exclusive and preferred procurement mandates
- Develop proposals and commercial recommendations for clients
- Attend industry events,
conferences and networking functions
- Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline management via HubSpot
- Collaborate with internal pricing, procurement and service teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years' B2B sales experience
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Strong prospecting and business development skills
- Experience managing stakeholder relationships
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- CRM experience (HubSpot preferred)
- Self-motivated, resilient and highly competitive mindset
- Energy, utilities or broker-channel experience is advantageous but not essential
What's On Offer
- Base Salary: $80,000-$85,000 + Super
- OTE $150,000+ in Year 1
- Uncapped Commission Structure
- 12% Superannuation on Salary and Commission
