With a reputation for engineering excellence, Australian manufacturing capability and a clear global vision, REDARC is strengthening its Product Realisation leadership team with the appointment of an Engineering Manager – Power Electronics. This senior role sits at the centre of REDARC’s power product portfolio and will lead the Power Engineering function across the Lonsdale and Melbourne engineering teams, driving innovation, technical excellence and commercial delivery across a high-performing manufacturing and technology environment.

This appointment calls for an engineering leader with deep experience in power electronics and a proven track record leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams. The role is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership across research, product development, technical governance and delivery of REDARC’s power technologies. Success relies on partnering closely with Product Category Management to define technology roadmaps, delivering competitive current product solutions, ensuring robust design outcomes across DFM, DFT, compliance and verification and maintaining strong governance through Stage Gate processes.

The role will also lead workforce planning,



performance management, capability development, departmental budgets, engineering productivity, intellectual property, R&D; activities and continuous improvement initiatives that support product quality, cost, lead time and lifecycle performance.

To thrive in this environment, the successful candidate will be a commercially minded engineering leader with strong technical judgement, high qualified integrity and the ability to lead through technical, operational and commercial complexity. You will demonstrate the ability to build accountable, high-performing teams, influence across the business, facilitate cross-functional collaboration and represent REDARC with credibility to customers, partners and external stakeholders. A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, deep experience in power electronics, product systems engineering, FMEA, automotive electronics, Stage Gate project management, relevant automotive standards and ISO requirements will be important.
