Serene Residential Care Services is a 43-bed commonwealth funded Aged Care Facility. It is set back from Henley Beach Road in the Lockleys area, opposite to the peaceful Mellor Reserve.

About the Role

We are seeking for a caring and motivated EN for residential care services. As an Enrolled Nurse, you will provide quality residential care services to our residents with a team of carers. You will utilise your genuine passion for helping others to make a difference to our resident's quality of life. You will part of a qualified and caring care team.

We have Permanent Part-Time and Casual vacancies available.

As an Enrolled Nurse, you will work within your scope of practice and under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide safe, person-centred care to residents. You will contribute to resident assessments, care planning, implementation and evaluation, medication management within your scope, clinical documentation, and communication with residents, families and the multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities of this role:

- Contribute to the implementation,



review and development of resident care plans in collaboration with the Registered Nurse
- Respond to the requests and concerns of families and Carer's in liaison with the Residential Manager
- Liaise with appropriate health care professionals to deliver quality care to the residents
- Work collaboratively with care and service staff to support safe, high-quality resident care
- Liaise with the Registered Nurse and Residential Manager regarding clinical issues and identified learning needs.
- Maintain compliance with relevant aged care standards, policies, procedures and clinical documentation requirements

The Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:

- Current registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2)
- Knowledge and experience in the provision of clinical care
- Good planning and organisational skills in the delivery of resident care
- Knowledge and skills in wound care and diabetes care within the Enrolled Nurse scope of practice
- Sound knowledge of medication management within Enrolled Nurse scope of practice
- Excellent communication, problem solving, interpersonal and team membership skills
- A strong understanding of residents' rights, the Aged Care Quality Standards, and person-centred care.
