As our Glen Iris clinic continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Enrolled Nurse to join our friendly team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.
The Role
We are looking for a professional, enthusiastic, and highly organised nurse who is passionate about patient care and clinical excellence.
This is a part-time position, working 3 days per week (8:00am to 5:15pm), totaling 26.25 hours per week. As the clinic continues to grow, there will be an opportunities to increase hours should you wish to do so.
Working closely with our doctors and reception team, you will play a vital role in supporting consultations, procedures, patient education, and the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting doctors with skin cancer procedures and treatments
- Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining clinical equipment
- Performing wound care and dressing changes
- Performing Total Body Photography (TBP)
- Sterilisation and infection control management
- Patient education regarding procedures and post-operative care
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation
- Stock control and ordering of clinical supplies
- Ensuring compliance with accreditation, infection control, and safety standards
- Working collaboratively with doctors, reception staff, and fellow nurses
Key Selection Criteria To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Previous experience in general practice, skin cancer, dermatology clinic, surgical or procedural nursing preferred, however not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient-centered approach to care
- Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated understanding of infection control principles
- Strong computer skills and experience with clinical software systems
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Previous nursing experience in a general practice, dermatology clinic or skin cancer clinic setting is highly desirable. This position requires on-site attendance.

Training Requirements The successful applicant will be required to attend our Woodend clinic for an initial two-week onboarding and training period. This hands-on training will provide comprehensive exposure to SkinGP's systems, procedures, and standards of patient care, ensuring a smooth transition into the role at our Glen Iris clinic. Following the completion of training, the position will be based at our Glen Iris location.
