Talent Lead | Melbourne CBD | 12 Month FTC | Hybrid working 2 days in office / 3 from home

This is an opportunity to step into a trusted Talent Lead role within a respected statutory organisation in Melbourne. With 150+ employees and a growing People & Culture function, the organisation is entering a period of uplift. Recruitment volume is steady rather than high, with a stronger focus on governance, panel capability, and improving how hiring is delivered across the business. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will play a key role in strengthening recruitment practice and elevating stakeholder confidence in the process.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Managing end to end recruitment across skilled and specialist roles
- Strengthening documentation, compliance and panel processes
- Coaching hiring managers on structured interviewing and bias awareness
- Improving system usage and onboarding workflows




- Acting as a trusted advisor rather than a transactional recruiter
- Hybrid working model, two days in office

What We’re Looking For

- Previous experience in Talent Acquisition (2-3 years+)
- Experience within government, health, education or regulated environments highly regarded
- Demonstrated ability to streamline or improve recruitment processes
- Confident stakeholder advisor with strong influencing capability
- Comfortable operating autonomously and taking ownership
