Our client is a well-established Western Australian specialist contractor focused on commercial ceilings, partitions and interior fit-out works. The business delivers a range of commercial construction projects across Perth, including retail, hospitality, residential and mixed-use developments.

We are seeking an Estimator to join the team, responsible for preparing accurate tenders and estimates across commercial ceilings, partitions and interior fit-out projects. A Junior Estimator with relevant commercial construction experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

- Review tender documentation, drawings and specifications to understand project requirements.
- Complete accurate quantity take-offs using CostX.
- Prepare detailed estimates and tender cost breakdowns.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Maintain labour and material rates and estimating databases.
- Prepare procurement forecasts, material schedules and subcontractor work packages.
- Attend tender meetings, site inspections and contract administration meetings as required.




- Coordinate with the site team throughout project delivery and manage drawing revisions.
- Assist with variations, progress claims and project administration.
- Support the Senior Estimator with other estimating duties as required.

Requirements

- Previous estimating experience within commercial construction.
- Experience in ceilings, partitions or interior fit-out will be highly regarded.
- Strong ability to interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
- Experience using CostX or similar estimating software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prepare accurate estimates.
- Good communication skills with subcontractors, suppliers and project teams.
