About the Role

Sydney Local Health District is one of the fastest growing Local Health Districts in New South Wales. Our facilities and services are world class and our staff are dedicated, innovative and caring.

The Executive Assistant (EA) supports the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Digital Health and Innovation (DH&I;) Executive Team. This support comprises the provision of executive level administrative and day-to-day operational support for the efficient and effective operation of DH&I.; Working as part of a team, the EA will ensure a high level of collaborative support and service to the DH&I; Executive Team.

This position is required to develop and maintain efficient office systems and procedures and ensure high professional standards. Executive Assistants may be required to rotate and provide administrative support to a range of Directors. The successful applicant will be required to sit at reception on most days and provide support to the Administration Officer on shift with reception and front-of-house duties including:

- Reviewing and coordinating documentation, supporting recruitment and onboarding activities, assisting with workforce and rostering processes,



and promoting roster management best practices.
- Working closely with administrative staff across the Directorate to support day-to-day operations.

Flexible work arrangements may be considered following the successful completion of the initial six-month onboarding period.

Ideal Candidate

- Experience in providing administrative and secretarial Executive support including a proven ability to operate efficiently in a challenging and high-volume environment ensuring confidentiality and discretion in issues management.
- Ability to work autonomously and show initiative to problem solve and use sound judgment to respond, adapt and cope with changing priorities and demands in a multidisciplinary work setting.
- Detail oriented with exceptional organisation and task management skills with the ability to work independently and be an effective team member.
- Effective utilisation of computer applications to accomplish tasks, with high level computing skills, particularly in TRIM, MS Teams, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
