Moreton Hire is looking for a creative, technically strong Exhibition Designer to join our growing team. This is a unique chance to work across major exhibitions, corporate events, and large-scale temporary structures — with genuine career progression into senior design, project leadership, or commercial roles.
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for designing custom exhibition stands, temporary structures and event environments for clients across Australia.
This role blends creativity + technical delivery , working closely with our sales, operations and project teams to bring concepts to life.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing exhibition stands and event spaces using CAD and Revit
- Producing 3D renders, layouts and technical drawings
- Collaborating with sales to develop client-facing concepts and proposals
- Working with operations teams to ensure designs are buildable, cost-effective and efficient
- Leveraging AI tools to improve workflows,
concept development and presentation outputs
- Contributing to design innovation across modular systems and custom builds
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in exhibition design, events, architecture or similar
- Strong skills in:
- AutoCAD / Revit
- 3D modelling (SketchUp, Rhino or similar)
- Rendering tools (Enscape, Lumion, etc.)
- Interest and capability in using AI tools for design and productivity
- Ability to balance creative thinking with practical delivery
- Strong communication skills — able to work across sales, clients and operations
