Experienced Bookkeeper / Transactional Accountant

Are you an experienced bookkeeper who enjoys variety, values strong client relationships and takes pride in keeping accounts accurate and organised?

Evolv Accountants is looking for a capable and dependable Bookkeeper / Transactional Accountant to join our team. You’ll manage the day-to-day accounting needs of a diverse portfolio of clients while working closely with our accountants and clients.

What you’ll be doing

- Managing bookkeeping and transactional accounting for multiple clients
- Completing bank and credit card reconciliations
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Preparing and lodging BAS
- Processing payroll, superannuation and related obligations
- Maintaining accurate general ledgers and balance sheet reconciliations
- Completing month-end processing and reporting
- Preparing management reports and useful financial information
- Identifying and resolving discrepancies in client accounts
- Using platforms such as Xero, MYOB, Dext and Hubdoc
- Communicating directly with clients to answer queries and obtain information
- Supporting our accountants with clean, accurate and up-to-date client files

About you You’ll be a excellent fit if you:





- Have solid bookkeeping or transactional accounting experience
- Can confidently manage multiple clients and competing deadlines
- Are highly proficient in Xero and MYOB
- Have experience with Dext and Hubdoc
- Can prepare BAS and have a good understanding of GST
- Are experienced in payroll and familiar with payroll compliance
- Can prepare clear and meaningful management reports
- Are organised, efficient and accurate
- Communicate confidently with clients and colleagues
- Take ownership of your work and solve problems proactively
- Work well independently and as part of a team
