About the role:

We are currently seeking to fill a Grounds and Gardens short term contract position within our team.

This position will be for approximately 6 weeks commencing 15th September 2026 to replace a staff member on leave.

The primary focus of this position is to work co-operatively and pro-actively as a member of an experienced Grounds and Gardens team to ensure the highest standard of presentation and safety is maintained throughout the grounds of Sunshine Coast Grammar School.

The position requirements for this position include, but are not limited to the below,



and may be subject to change depending on the operational requirements of the School:

- Maintenance of grounds and gardens
- Turf Management
- Horticultural practices
- Weed spraying
- High attention to detail in gardening practices
- Certificate III in Horticulture or Turf Management
- ACDC Licence, Loader/skid steer/chainsaw ticket (or willingness to obtain)
- In addition to the above grounds and gardens duties there may be a requirement to empty bins and perform some cleaning tasks

All employees must hold a current Working with Children Blue Card prior to commencement.
