Australian Fashion View is an established garment supplier specialising in ladies' fashion for the Australian retail market. The business has recently celebrated its 20-year anniversary and works closely with major retailers, managing offshore production and long-term supplier relationships.

About the Role

We are currently looking for an experienced Fashion Production Coordinator to join our team. Key duties will include:

- Setting up tech packs and costings for new styles

- Setting up new styles in the system, including creating contracts and purchase orders

- Managing the critical path to ensure on-time delivery of orders

- Chasing, submitting and approving fabrics, trims and care labels

- Preparing invoicing

- Liaising with designers on development requirements

- Arranging and attending weekly fit meetings with designers and garment technicians

- Submitting inspection reports and reviewing final production units

- Communicating with factories to confirm orders and production timelines





- Maintaining and updating production schedules

Requirements

We are seeking a candidate who:

- Has several years of experience in a production coordination role within the fashion or garment industry

- Has robust Microsoft Excel skills

- Has experience managing onshore and/or offshore production processes

- Has experience liaising with factories and suppliers to confirm orders and delivery timelines

- Is an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

Highly desirable
- Any relevant qualifications in fashion, textiles or production management
