Ready Resources is currently seeking experienced Field Service Diesel Fitters to support our client’s mining operations in Weipa, QLD.

If you have strong CAT earthmoving equipment experience and a solid background in field service, this is an excellent chance to secure a FIFO role with a great roster and comprehensive site benefits.

�� Location: Weipa, QLD

�� Roster: 16 days on / 12 days off

☀️ Shift: Day Shift Only

✈️ POH: Brisbane or Cairns

�� Field Service Vehicle: Supplied

�� Accommodation: Supplied

✈️ Flights: Supplied

About the Role:

As a Field Service Diesel Fitter, you will be responsible for carrying out mechanical maintenance, servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy mobile equipment in a field-based mining environment.

✅ Essential Requirements

- Minimum 5 years’ Diesel Fitting experience
- Minimum 2 years’ Field Service experience




- Proven experience working on CAT earthmoving equipment
- Current High Risk Forklift Ticket
- Dogman and/or Rigger Ticket
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Previous mining or heavy mobile equipment experience
