Ready for your first FIFO role or looking to move into a more balanced roster? Hays is seeking qualified Refrigeration Technicians for ongoing opportunities across remote mining accommodation villages throughout Western Australia, with day shifts only and family-friendly rosters available.
Your recent role
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems
- Complete scheduled maintenance as well as attend reactive breakdowns
- Diagnose faults and perform repairs across HVAC and refrigeration equipment
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with site procedures and compliance requirements
- Work within camp accommodation, kitchens, dining facilities, offices and other village infrastructure
- Primarily 8:6 rosters available, with opportunities to discuss alternative swing arrangements
- Day shifts only, providing an excellent work-life balance
- Immediate and upcoming opportunities available
What you'll need to succeed
- Certificate III in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
- Current ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence
- WA Restricted Electrical Licence
- Current CPR/LVR certification
- Experience maintaining and fault-finding commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
- Willingness to complete all required site inductions and onboarding requirements
FIFO experience is not essential. This role is well suited to qualified Refrigeration Technicians looking to get their foot in the door within the mining industry or those seeking a more family-friendly FIFO roster with shorter swings and day shifts only.
