Role Description The Finance Assistant / Accounts Officer (Entry / Junior Level) will support day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, managing invoicing, and assisting with accounts payable and receivable. This full-time remote role involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing basic financial reports, and supporting reconciliation of bank statements and ledgers. The role includes coordinating with internal stakeholders to clarify financial queries, tracking payments from clients, and ensuring timely follow-ups on outstanding balances.

The Finance

Assistant / Accounts Officer will also assist in budgeting support tasks, data entry in accounting systems, and adherence to internal financial controls and documentation standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid analytical skills to interpret financial data, identify discrepancies, and support decision-making.
- Candidates should possess invoicing and accounts receivable/payable skills to manage billing, payment tracking,



and basic collections activities.
- Candidates should possess foundational finance and accounting skills, including knowledge of bookkeeping principles, reconciliations, and financial record-keeping.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional communication skills for interacting with internal teams, external partners, and learners when needed.
- Basic proficiency with spreadsheets and accounting or ERP software; strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Entry-level experience or internship in finance, accounting, or administration is beneficial; interest in the education, training, or fintech sector is a plus.
- Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred.
