You'll be working at Oakey Beef Exports, one of Australia's largest beef processing plants. Located on the Darling Downs, just 26km west of Toowoomba, Oakey is a welcoming and family-friendly town that offers a real country experience and genuine hospitality.

What is the opportunity?

We are currently seeking an experienced Finance Manager

This is a Senior Manager role, and key advisor to the executive management team offering support through reporting, insights and financial advice to assist the executive management team make the best business, operational and financial decisions for the company.

Key Responsibilities Include?

· Develop business plans, forecasts, financial performance measurements.

· Analysis of manufacturing processes to achieve the best financial outcomes.





· Review and negotiation of key contracts to minimise cost to the business.

· Complete month end closing procedures and daily/weekly/monthly reporting.

· Manage, supervise, and develop Finance & Accounting team members.

· Liaise with external auditors to complete quarterly, interim and annual audits

· Ensure compliance with tax & statutory reporting requirements.

What we're looking for

We are seeking a highly organised and self-motivated professional with strong technical accounting and reporting expertise. The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong commercial acumen, exceptional communication skills, and a proven ability to build effective relationships across multidisciplinary teams are essential, along with a demonstrated track record of achieving KPIs and upholding Oakey Beef Exports' values and standards.
