Role Description Braeside Wealth is looking for a motivated and organised Financial Advice Assistant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate, or someone nearing completion of their degree, who is interested in business, finance and helping people achieve better financial outcomes.
No previous financial planning experience is required. Most importantly, we're looking for someone with a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail and a genuine desire to build a long-term career in financial advice. This is a full time position based in our Newcastle office.
However, we are open to discussing part time arrangements for the right candidate. Working closely with our advisers, you'll support the delivery of high-quality financial advice and gain exposure to each stage of the advice process, including: Preparing client review documentation and reports
Assisting with research and advice preparation
Coordinating client communications and follow-up actions
Maintaining client records and compliance documentation
Supporting the implementation of advice recommendations
Assisting with administration and office coordination This is more than an administration role. You'll learn from experienced advisers, build your technical knowledge and develop the skills required to progress towards a future career as a Financial Adviser. About you
Have completed, or expect to complete within the next 18 months, a Bachelor of Commerce, Business or related degree
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Previous office, administration, customer service or professional services experience is favourable but not essential
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and similar applications What we offer
Salary of $60,000 to $70,000 + super (FTE)
