Role Description This full-time Financial Adviser role is an on-site position based in the Sydney CBD, working closely with an established small family office style client base to help them structure their finances and build secure futures. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients to understand their goals and circumstances, preparing and presenting tailored financial plans, and providing advice across areas such as retirement planning, investments, superannuation, insurance, and wealth management.
The role involves regular portfolio reviews, monitoring market and regulatory changes, and adjusting strategies to align with client objectives.
The Financial
Adviser will collaborate with internal specialists,
maintain accurate records and compliance documentation, and ensure advice meets legal, ethical, and professional standards. Building long-term client relationships, delivering clear and accessible explanations of complex financial concepts, and contributing to the firm’s reputation for high-quality advice are core aspects of the position.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Financial Planning and Financial Advisory skills, with experience delivering holistic, goals-based advice.
- Candidates should possess solid Finance knowledge, including understanding of cash flow, debt management, tax implications, and risk management.
- Candidates should possess Retirement Planning expertise, including superannuation strategies, SMSF considerations, and aged care planning.
- Candidates should possess Investments skills, including portfolio construction, diversification, and ongoing portfolio monitoring.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in financial planning, commerce, business, or a related field, with RG146 compliance or equivalent Australian accreditation.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities, with high attention to detail and commitment to regulatory and ethical standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and build trusting client relationships.
- Demonstrated experience in a financial advice or wealth management setting; familiarity with Australian financial services regulations is highly regarded.
