Role Description The Financial Analyst (Hybrid, Entry-Level) will support the project’s financial planning, monitoring, and reporting activities in a part-time capacity. This hybrid role is based in Sydney, NSW, with flexibility for some work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in budget preparation, tracking expenses against allocated funds, and helping maintain accurate financial records.

The analyst will review and interpret financial statements, prepare basic financial reports, and contribute to financial models that support decision-making for project activities and resource allocation. The role also involves collaborating with project leads to ensure financial data is organized, documented, and aligned with project timelines and goals.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret quantitative data and support evidence-based financial decisions.




- Foundational knowledge of finance and financial planning, including budgeting and cost estimation.
- Ability to read, understand, and assist in preparing financial statements and basic financial reporting.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling numerical data and documentation.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial analysis tools (e.g., Excel or similar software).
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary project team.
- Relevant coursework or a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field (completed or in progress).
