Your new company A well-established organisation with a strong national presence is seeking a commercially minded Analyst to join its team in Sydney. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with Business Development, Operations and Shared Services, supporting new business opportunities through robust financial modelling, pricing analysis and commercial insight.

Your new role

You will play a key role in preparing accurate, insightful and commercially sound estimates for new business opportunities. This role will give you exposure across multiple areas of the business and the prospect to contribute directly to tender strategy, pricing decisions and commercial outcomes. You will develop project-specific financial models, analyse cost inputs, support review and approval processes, maintain benchmarking data and partner with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, HR and Supply Chain.

You will also provide post-submission tender support, assist with client clarifications and presentations,



and contribute to commercial handovers for successful opportunities.

What you'll need to succeed

You will ideally hold a degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or similar with practical knowledge of P&L; and balance sheets.

Advanced

Excel skills with proven financial modelling capability, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and commercial acumen. Most importantly, you will demonstrate that you can tell a story with the numbers and use data to influence key stakeholders. Strong written and verbal presentation skills are essential and exposure to bids or tender preparation would be highly regarded.
