About the Appointment
As Financial Controller, you will lead the finance function across several entities and be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team. This is a broad, hands-on role covering people leadership, financial operations, reporting, audit, FP&A;, commercial decision support and process improvement.
Key responsibilities include
- Oversee month-end, year-end and statutory reporting requirements
- Manage a small team, including shared resources
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
- Partner with senior leadership on strategy, performance and decision-making
- Provide financial oversight of major projects and business initiatives
- Manage cash flow forecasting
- Coordinating audit processes, liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain strong financial controls, governance and compliance
- Identify opportunities to improve, automate and streamline processes
- Work closely with stakeholders across the broader Group
About You
This position is more than simply reporting on the numbers. You will be a commercially minded finance leader who can balance being operationally hands-on with providing strategic support to the organisation. Ideally, you will bring:
- CA/CPA qualification
- 5+ years' in a similar role
- A hands-on approach with the ability to operate strategically
- Strong budgeting, forecasting and management accounting capability
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders
- Knowledge of IFRS, financial controls and governance
- Strong analytical and systems capability
